On June 4, a YouTube channel named Technical Dost Video According to the post, a Delhi resident’s Oppo A53 smartphone caught fire and caused serious injury to that person. In the video, the person has narrated the incident in detail. The name of the victim of this incident is being told as Jeetu. Jeetu says that while he was driving the auto, he had kept the alleged Oppo A53 phone in his pants pocket. Suddenly there was smoke in the phone and on seeing it caught fire.
Due to the sudden fire, Jeetu’s auto got out of control and overturned, causing serious injuries on both his legs. According to Jeetu, his phone is about 9 months old and he was using only the charger that came with the phone. He says that there was no pressure on his phone at the time of fire. Looking at the phone, it is known that its battery is on fire. At present, there is no official statement from Oppo regarding this incident. It is expected that the company will investigate this accident as soon as possible. It is too early to jump to conclusions before the investigation.
