#ResignModi post blocked on Facebook created ruckus, company said by mistake…

The central government is being criticized across the country due to the ever-increasing cases of corona virus in India and not handling the situation properly. People are venting their anger through social media. Many people ran the #ResignModi hashtag and even demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However, this trend being done by the people was suddenly blocked by Facebook on 28 April. Yes, some users have found that Facebook has blocked the hashtag #ResignModi, due to which many of their posts are not visible. Then did people make a ruckus against Facebook through tweet. Seeing the controversy growing, Facebook reinstated that hashtag a few hours later.

A Facebook spokesperson informed that the hashtag #ResignModi was blocked by mistake. At the same time, he also clarified that this step has not been taken at the behest of the Government of India, nor has it been restored again at their behest. Facebook has called it just a mistake.

The spokesperson said that Facebook blocks hashtags from time to time for a variety of reasons, some are manually blocked and most are automatically blocked based on internal guidelines.

Significantly, the fresh wave of coronavirus has thrown the situation in India into disarray in recent weeks. Millions of corona virus epidemic cases are being reported every day, people are lacking oxygen. However, hospitals do not have beds for patients and not enough oxygen. Millions of people are dying every day due to lack of oxygen, which can be gauged from the lack of crematoriums. The Government of India is believed to be responsible for the current condition of India, which has proved unsuccessful in getting control of the situation in time.
